A plant causing turbulence...

The history of cannabis is grand and exciting, and of course, pretty damn turbulent. You only need to look a little into its past to be quickly convinced of it. Mostly ignored by the general public, its vast history is nevertheless a fascinating human adventure which deserves more attention. To better understand this plant, both sacred and banned during its saga from ancient times to modern ones, TGHC has made its mission to highlight the global history of cannabis throughout a collection of paintings and books.

 The man behind the art is Mossy Giant. He’s an acclaimed Dutch urban artist, and his style, rich in colors and details, fits incredibly well to the task given. He is no stranger to the world of cannabis, having worked for some of the most well-known brands or events in the industry. It takes a lot of researches and talent to succeed in the challenge of painting more than 10,000 years of history. Composed of both individual or thematic paintings, the TGHC expo intends to put cannabis back in its righteous place where it really belongs, to that of a cultural object of the highest significance. 

The collection of paintings and books are created in collaboration with historians, journalists, researchers, and for the modern period witnesses and pioneers of the industry.

 From the Eurasian steppes, to the Dutch Coffeeshop and Californian dispensaries, via the Hindu Kush, the banks of the Congo River and the Sierra Madre mountains in Colombia, the cannabis conquest of the globe was long and laborious. At a time when many countries have already legalized, and others are in the process of doing so, it’s important to better understand its incredible journey. You'll see, it's mind-blowing!
